j.a.r.v.i.s. talked her into letting us come to her place on the island, taking her away and saving her from potential doom. i have had issues with her brother because of this and some unsettled bitterness toward the guy to say the least. but mia is one of the most amazing people i've ever meet, she's a brilliant girl, a huge help around the house and helping with the suit when i need it. she's my daughter: pure and simple. which means that if someone fucks with her, i fuck them up in turn.

in spite of how much i want to keep her safe, i've been a shit father to her and an even worse protector. she's died because i failed to stop things from happening thanks to the darkness and being hellbent on revenge gets me nowhere. besides, there's only so much pushing i can do before she'll step in. i don't know why she cares about that fuckhead "brother" of hers but i wish she wouldn't.
